Installation Instructions by Softasm.com:
1- Install as Singe User License (For stand-alone installations)
2- Uncheck the following following options during installation:
– Enable periodic checking for Maple 2017 product updates after installation
– Check for updates now.
3- Default Installation folder should be: /Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/2017
4- Uncheck Activate Maple 2017 now (requires an Internet connection).
5- Finish
6- Copy “libmaple.dylib” file to your default installation folder (overwrite/replace it). It should be in: /Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/2017/bin.APPLE_UNIVERSAL_OSX
7- Open license.dat file in text editor and replace all instances (4 of them) HOSTID=?????? with HOSTID=YOUR_MAC_ADDRESS_WITHOUT_COLONS
It should look something like: HOSTID=123456789123
8- Copy license.dat file to: /Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/2017/license
Maple should be registered.
Don’t forget to disable update checks:
Maple 2017 -> Preferences -> Network -> Check for update every (5) days -> Apply Globally.
