Pop Art Studio 9 Latest is a versatile program that allows users to perform all the typical image-editing functions and a few cool extras, as well. With this fun program, you quickly and easily convert images into beautiful posters in pop art style. Think of the work of renowned artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg or Bansky later. New version 9.0 includes Word Art, Business Word Art, Typographic Portrait, Vector Pop Art, and Collage. The user interface has also been recently improved. The use of layers allows you to make complex designs.
The program’s interface is a bit overwhelming at first, with a whole lot of little buttons across the top, but, on the whole, it is well-organized and intuitive. Users who are familiar with the basics of photo-editing software should find most of what they’re looking for pretty easily. There are the typical options for cropping, resizing, retouching, working with layers, and so-on. What makes this program different is the variety of pop-art effects it contains. Yes, they’re cliched and kind of cheesy, but they’re still fun. And Pop Art Studio contains a whole lot of them. There are multiple Warhol effects that are based on the different color palettes of his more famous works, as well as mosaics, oil painting, pointillism, and many more. All of these are easy to use (that’s what most of the little buttons control at the top of the interface), and we had fun playing around with them. The program’s Help file is relatively well-written and comprehensive, although we were disappointed that it didn’t contain any instructions for using the program’s animation features.
Pop Art Studio doesn’t have a time limit on its trial, but it does put a watermark on images created using the trial version. The program installs desktop icons without asking, but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.
How to create images? First of all, you must first open a digital recording in the program. That does not have to be a high resolution image. Experimental and even print results are just as good with a low quality image. Choose File >> Open >> File or press Ctrl + O to open your own image. Use the Fit Screen button (also found under Picture >> Zoom) to see the entire recording appropriate in the preview screen. Now you can choose a specific effect from the top toolbar or search for the Effects option through the Effect Search option. After selecting this option you will see a tree structure on the left with all the effects present. The effects are divided into groups Effects, Pop Art, Andy Warhol, Tools and Customize. For example, if we click on the folder name Andy Warhol, we will see small examples of the effects appearing in the window to the right based on the opened image. This way you can browse through all the existing effects. Clicking on one of the examples will then apply the relevant effect to the opened image. Click OK (or OK + When exporting layers) or to apply the effect definitively. By file> Save as (or F12) you can save the edited image.
