In the midst of a real avalanche of games based on the Warhammer, in an era in which Games Workshop has opened the hand with the license as ever, there are all kinds of hopes and fears about what we expect from the license on our favorite medium. Between 40,000 and Fantasy there all a wave of games in different formats and in the hands of all sorts of developers, some with little name, so the doubts are there. At the moment we are not going badly unemployed – with a few exceptions like the forgettable Storm of Vengeance – and, indeed, this Vermintide comes to give us more hope that those who are working in the license are taking it seriously.
